“I am writing this letter in reference to my mom, Marla McBee Altieri, who was under your care from September 12, 2015, to September 28, 2015. Our continuous care nurse, Gezahegan Waldehana, was absolutely wonderful not only in caring for my mother but also in dealing with our family. I will never forget his patience with my dad, and his kindness to us as well. In addition, I found G to be receptive to family, very anticipatory and perceptive to Mom's care. He thought outside the box in moving the oxygen unite to the empty room next door, to decrease the heat output and noise level to better comfort my mom. Furthermore, G was very courteous, comforting, and sensitive during our family's grief process.
Out of all the Nurses we utilized during my mom's illness over the years, G is by far THE BEST. G epitomizes all the qualities necessary for a continuous care nurse and I highly recommend him. He helped make a difficult time a bit more dignified, and my family is grateful for his care. I feel blessed to have had him care for my mom until the end.
